Hotel Optimal City - Focus on the city hotel industry of the future

Ghezzo - wissen rockt! organized the seventh edition of the "Hotel Optimal City" conference in the impressive ambience of the Ritz Carlton Hotel. On this inspiring day, experts from the hotel industry came together to discuss current challenges and innovative solutions.

Amidst discussions about megainflation, climate change, AI and the changing needs and wishes of guests, the participating hotel managers were encouraged to discuss the relevance of sustainability and resource conservation and called upon to take swift action. Whether an international hotel or a family-run establishment - these issues affect us all and require joint action.

One part of the event program was the informative presentation by our expert Klaus Pichler, who gave interesting insights into the future availability of drinking water in Austria, the high consumption by hotel guests in hotels and concrete measures to reduce (hot) water consumption under the title "Water is valuable - successful strategies for water management in hotels".

As part of the accompanying trade exhibition, we presented our tried and tested solutions, such as the ecowaterjet by rabmer® or our AQUABION® lime and corrosion protection system, which help to optimize the CO2 footprint and reduce water and energy costs. The numerous projects already successfully implemented underlined our commitment to sustainability and aroused the interest of all participants in further joint measures with Rabmer. It became clear that now is the right time to proactively take the necessary steps to achieve our ESG goals.
